Gau mata is our mother. Protecting her and giving her pleasure brings all auspiciousness into our lives. Our goshala will be a place where cows live their natural dharma and receive love, companionship, and hands on care throughout.
Cows are an essential component of self-sufficiency, providing the foundation for agriculture and natural local economy. Their dung and urine feeds the soil, their ghee feeds the sacred fire, and their milk feeds their beloved children, including us.
The goshala will be constructed with all her needs in mind: protection from the elements, comfort, cleanliness, and constant supervision. Using natural, healthy, local materials, the shelter will reflect her very nature, that of Mother Earth Herself.
